Ted is regarded as one of Australia’s most significant and accomplished ceramic artists and sculptors. Ted’s practice has focused on artworks in the decorative area where he creates pieces of the highest quality and beauty. Although Ted is known for his beautiful crystalline glazes, these form only a part of his pallette. He has worked and has experience in almost all glaze genres.

His career has spanned over 45 years, exhibiting in many International, solo and group exhibitions across Asia, Europe, UK, NZ and the USA. He has also held over 30 solo exhibitions within Australia.

Ted is recognised as a member of the International Academy of Ceramics. His artworks are represented in Australia’s foremost public collections including the National Gallery of Australia. His artworks have also been acquired for inclusion in 40 public collections worldwide and are held in corporate collections including Etihad Towers Abu Dhabi, Ritz Carlton Singapore and Conrad Hilton Singapore.

Our Wheel Workout class is a deeper dive into the art of wheel throwing. This class is geared towards individuals who are looking to refine their skills.


In our Wheel Workout class, you can expect:

  1. Hands-On Practice: Participants will spend a significant amount of time actively working on the wheel, honing their skills through practice and repetition.

  2. Critiques and Feedback: Instructors will provide feedback on students' work, helping them identify areas for improvement and offering tips for refinement.

Lucy has recently finished working with academy award-winning film director Adam Elliot, on his upcoming film “Memoir of a Snail’.

Discover the art of sculpting the human form and explore the intricacies of facial construction in our hands-on clay workshop.

With Lucy's guidance, you will explore facial anatomy, proportion, surface modelling and a range of sculpting and finishing techniques. Lucy's expertise and attention to detail will provide you with invaluable insights into the art of creating realistic facial features.

You will proudly walk away with a completed piece, that will showcase your newfound skills in sculpting clay. All pieces will take 2 weeks to dry and fire in our kiln.
