Dean has over 25 years experience in ceramics and has featured in Belle magazine. His work can be found in restaurants including Melbourne's modern dining destinations - Society, Ostēr, Henrietta, & Chandon Yarra Valley.

He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in ceramics from RMIT. Dean’s specialty lies in wheel thrown functional and sculptural objects using high fired stoneware and porcelaneous clay.
